Dear Consciousness Seekers,

Spring the season of resurrection and transformation is occurring on March 20^th when the Sun enters the Sign of Aries. Transformation is bringing that which is in the darkness (unconscious) into the Light of awareness. Resurrection is rising from a previous state of being. The essence of Spring is what these times we are in, are all about. Each of us is in this process of Transformation whether we know it or not. So too the world is in a process of Transformation. Before we get to the Resurrection essentially the World needs to die to its old way of being. Obviously it is not changing gracefully.

The greater the forces for Transformation the more dangerous they are. The same Cycles for transformation when an individual fails the initiation of transformation, are the same Cycles of death. Now I am not saying that everyone who doesn't transform dies. There are older and younger Souls. Less is required of the younger Souls, more is required of the older Souls. And death doesn't necessarily mean that there was a failure on the part of an individual. Sometimes it is and other times it was that Soul's time to leave the Earth. I believe for many that there isn't just one time to leave. There are lots of examples of people who were pronounced clinically dead, “saw the Light experience, heard a voice� and were given the option to return to Earth and lived.

The Key is what is your Soul doing here and what does it want to learn? We are here on Earth about inner things not outer things. Our outer life is the play wherein all the drama takes place. Eventually everything passes away except your Soul. The more you are mindful and honoring of your Soul, the more you evolve.

Recently, I have been in a lot of grief and questioning over what more could I have done to prevent a friend's passing. Someone I've known for 25 years, who was not only a friend but also a client who did Birthday Solar Return trips, missed his last couple of trips. A couple of years ago he had the Solar Return Part of fortune in the 8^th house of his Chart. The same pattern Peter Jennings had. The Part of fortune in the 8^th reflects that something is beginning in the body that if undetected can in 1 to 3 years cost one their life. It is the one factor that cannot be moved in a Solar Return Chart no matter where, what city you are in on your birthday. A favorable Planet can support the Solar Return Part of fortune and the Sign that it is in can be changed. So far all of my clients going on their Solar Return Birthday trips have been fine. Even with doing their trip, I suggest and ask that they get a thorough medical check up, a colonoscopy, full blood panel, etc. and ideally if their doctor approves a full body scan. One of my clients by not only doing his birthday trip but also all the medical tests even though he felt perfectly fine and had no symptoms, had prostate cancer and is fine because it was detected early. He wouldn't have had the extensive medical testing if not for his Part of fortune in the 8^th house. The Part of fortune named by the ancients also meant reversal of fortune if not well aspected. This is one of the main reasons to always get your Birthday Solar Return Chart checked out before your Birthday.

My friend, an early December Sagittarius also missed going on a Solar Return trip on his recent Birthday this past December. He had several Planets in the house of health. His new socialite girlfriend was throwing a party and being a medical doctor he thought he would be fine. I saw him in January when I was in New York City and asked him if he had everything medically checked out. (I doubt he did now) He assured me he was fine and talked about how great things were with a new mainstream book coming out and his new girlfriend. He couldn't be happier. A month latter he dropped dead.

Now many of you may say it was his time to go. He had just turned 59, and even though he was going through his Saturn return, I felt he would have made it through to another Saturn return Cycle as many do. I also know that my work has been a powerful catalyst to assist in saving lives. I am in many individuals lives as their Soul has called me in to be a guide for greater and more life on all levels. I am not a fatalist. The more aware you are the greater the choices you have.

What could I have done? It is not my position to scare someone, only point out the patterns. I believed at the time he was getting everything medically checked out, not so. It is a great loss to those who knew him including me. I wish I had begged him to go on his Birthday trip.

It is never a good idea to have powerful Planets in either the house of Health, the 6^th house or the house of Critical issues, the 8^th house. Eventually it will occur at sometime for all of us, when even with a Birthday trip, all of the Planetary factors at some point will not be able to be moved out of these critical areas. My attitude is later than sooner. We don't escape our lessons by doing Birthday Solar Return trips, we just basically chose how the lesson will play out. Similar to being in college, you are deciding when to take certain courses to complete your education. God doesn't care how we learn the lesson just that we do. It is the old Piscean Age concept that we need to suffer physically, play things out in our body because the body for centuries was considered sinful, less than our minds etc. As we are in this process of transitioning into the Aquarian Age and the return of the Feminine aspect of God (where God is both Masculine and Feminine) we will truly comprehend that the body is the temple of the living God and needs to be honored and valued and is an equally important facet of our being.

Many believe in positive thinking to create what occurs in one's Life and then wonder why it works for some and not others. First is to truly believe in what you are visualizing, and for many it is hard to believe because either they haven't cleaned up their stuff in the basement of their being or they are having an imbalance in their body that is affecting everything. Recently I heard a statistic on a View television show special on depression. By 2010 the biggest cause of disability will be depression. Also a friend of mine consulting a doctor about nutritional matters, was surprised to find out that his doctor used to be a psychiatrist and gave up that profession when he discovered that many people's mental problems were nutritionally based and could be cured through nutritional means. The mind body connection is a powerful one.

There are so many layers to our Being. There are also the issues of individual karma, group karma and group service to the collective. The people who perished in the Twin Towers tragedy of September 11^th, didn't consciously or unconsciously visualize such a reality for themselves or for their families. Something I didn't hear about until after the event, was a client of mine that prior to September 11^th worked for a financial group in one of the tower buildings that was attacked. She told me that during her Reading with me, that I told her to quit her job because of the Cycles she was under. Even though she loved her job she did it; it saved her Life as everyone else in the firm she worked for was killed.

Also when someone is experiencing an illness, it doesn't mean necessarily that the individual did something wrong or created it. Sometimes it does reflect that on some level of their being they did do something that set the illness into motion, other times NO. It can be an experience the Soul seeks for its growth, or it can be the way it serves the collective/humanity, such as Christopher Reeves greatest service came as a result of his illness. Life is not black or white; it is a variety that can only be perceived from a Soul level, not from the surface mind.

Now to some of the Cycles that are occurring. Each year we have Eclipses that have a big impact on the world as well as all of us individually. The Signs the Eclipses occur in are based on the Moon's nodes, the lunar nodes. The lunar nodes are where the orbit of the Moon intersects the orbit of the Earth. The orbit intersects in two points; there's the North point and there's the South point. The North point is called the North Lunar node and is considered the positive point, the plus side of the Eclipse pattern. The South point which is called the South Lunar node is considered the minus point, the more difficult part of the Eclipse pattern. Each year we have Eclipses basically in the two Signs where the lunar nodes are. ( Periodically when the lunar nodes are close to changing Signs, we can have an Eclipse in the next Sign.)

In June of 2006 the lunar nodes, went into the Signs of Pisces and Virgo. The North Lunar node is in Pisces and the South Lunar node is in Virgo. They continue to be there all of 2007, until early January of 2008. So the Eclipses this year, as well as part of last year occur in the Signs of Pisces and Virgo. Now the Pisces point reflects the energy for the collective that we want to embrace; that we want to pick up; and the North Lunar node, being in the Sign of Pisces means that each of us, individually and collectively, have got to focus more on compassion, understanding and empathy.

The South Lunar node, at this time being in the Sign of Virgo represents our point of undoing. It doesn't mean that Virgo is our point of undoing; it means that wherever the South Lunar node is each year, that's what we have already overdone and we need to move away from that energy. The South point being in Virgo reflects that on a collective and an individual level that all of us have got to watch our judgments, our criticalness, our pettiness, and there is a difference between discernment and judgment. At some point down the road, the reverse will be true.

When I give you this example it is not a religious example, it is a spiritual one simply because I'm not attached to any particular religion. When we read about Jesus' life, Jesus would see so clearly who would betray him, who would denounce Him, who was a thief, who was whatever. He saw people as they were and as they are. He truly saw clearly. He didn't pretend to try and see them as loving; he just saw them as they are. And the difference is, this is the difference between discernment and judgment, is that he saw them as they are with all their traits, faults, you name it, and still loved them. So when we truly have developed discernment, we see clearly how others are.

We know, for example, that we would never leave our child with a particular baby sitter or we wouldn't get into business with a certain individual, or we wouldn't marry that someone. If we are truly willing to see clearly and discern; and the difference is as long as we don't have an attitude, that's the important word, an attitude about what we're seeing, then it doesn't become judgment. If you're seeing that person is not to be trusted, if you start to really get angry and truly upset that the individual is someone you can't trust; that's when it becomes a judgment. If you just see that the person is not to be trusted; then it's a discernment; but if you get a real emotional charge about it, that becomes a judgment.

Just going to the store, anywhere, people are more on edge; they're more critical; more irritable. Try not to add to this energy; be as the Sun and Son that shines on all regardless.

As you know Life is about Cycles. There are times when things are smooth, and times when things are difficult. It is the very nature of Life itself. “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under the Sun.�

God said in Genesis, “let there be lights in the firmament of Heaven, to separate the day from the night and let them be for Signs and for seasons and for days and years.� Did you know it is the path of the Earth around the Sun, called the ecliptic, which determines our Signs, our seasons, and what years are measured by?

What is the purpose of Signs? There are here to assist us. Astrology reveals the signs on the highway of life. Being aware of the cycles increases your ability for making choices and decisions more wisely. As I always say on my TV show, “God created the Planets so we could plan it�. The Planets are neither good, nor bad. They are significators of energy, and act like spotlights in our life to show what we need to work on and when.
