Dear Consciousness Seekers,

All we truly have is right now; this moment in time and when it passes it is gone. Life is precious and in the day to day living so many are not fully in the present moment; either thinking about what one needs to do next or worrying about something, that we miss out on the vast importance of this moment and all moments. It is the “moments� and how we experience them that determine the quality of our livingness. Savoring the present, regardless of what is occurring, is living from heightened awareness and appreciation. Things and people come and go, including Cycles, which are our “weather forecast� of what is coming up.

We all need to live each day with gratitude and appreciation and wake up thanking God for the gift of Life and all that we have, no matter how little it may seem to you. Letting others know how much you love and appreciate them, even if you are angry with someone; someday they won't be here and we won't be here.

I wrote the above paragraph just prior to the devastation in the South from the hurricane. Most of us tend to take Life for granted. I have been feeling so much death coming, reflected by the Planets in the fixed Signs. With Saturn going into Leo this mid July and in opposition to Neptune in Aquarius, triggered by this long Cycle of Mars in Taurus, we are in for a lot of earth changes. Also when Jupiter goes into Scorpio in late October, this will make a powerful grand cross. When previously we had this kind of pattern, we have had more earthquakes, intense storms and volcanic eruptions. The difference is that now these patterns are occurring at the end of an Age. As I mentioned in the 1st Newsletter of this year “We are living in these times when everything is intensifying and accelerating, as we are in this long transitional process between the ending of the Piscean Age to the birth of the coming Aquarian Age. Historically when an Age is ending there is a lot of chaos and upheaval on many different levels, globally, collectively, individually and Earth wise as well. Weather patterns are more chaotic and the Earth goes through major upheavals. This is all part of the process of birth.�

Most of all of us watched grief stricken and absolutely horrified at the tragedy-taking place in the South, and wondering why this was happening, not just from the hurricane but the ensuing events as well. No matter who and what the cause, we all need to do all what we each can to assist both human and animal life to get through this, heal, begin anew and hopefully be empowered by the initiation of tragedy. Initiation meaning a heroic test, which if you pass by being renewed and empowered, instead of destroyed, will greatly bless your Life. What each of us will do with this tragedy outwardly and inwardly to change for the better will make a big difference on so many levels, including the evolution of humanity. All this ultimately is serving a greater purpose and that is to ultimately unite us in true brotherhood.

How do we move into the Age of Brotherhood, the Aquarian Age, unless we learn with our hearts the true meaning and importance of brotherhood? As we are preparing to move into the coming Aquarian Age, this process of learning, sadly is taking place through tragediessuch as the devastation in the South, the Tsunami overseas, the devastating weather patterns, coming earthquakes and other events. We as humans mainly learn through the crises that set the stage for us to change. If we can truly live with the understanding that we are all connected to one another and that we are created equally, we have the opportunity to lessen the coming events.

There have always been natural disasters; the difference is that in this day and age we now watch them on the most powerful collective medias for change, the television and Internet. More than ever before in the history of humanity, we are watchful participants in the tragedies taking place. They are “etched� in our consciousness. Each of us has the responsibility to become more loving, compassionate and helpful human beings. It is not enough for us to do “brotherhood� for a few weeks or months; it is to be a way of Life for us all. “Whatever you do unto the least of mine, you do unto me�. (This is not a religious statement; it is a Spiritual one.) Please always remember that during powerful times and Cycles the opportunity for personal change and growth is greatly enhanced.

What can we do? First of all is to live each day fully, pray and meditate. Prayer to me is talking to God and meditation is listening to God. We have all heard stories of how someone's life was saved just by their listening to their intuition, which is our personal direct “phone “ line to God. Also paying attention to the technological warnings, whether it is about a coming hurricane, or quakes in an ocean, etc. Part of the horrific tragedy in New Orleans is that there was a mandatory evacuation that many did not heed, some thinking it wouldn't be that bad. Since these are times when everything is intensified including the weather patterns; take no unnecessary chances. Also many did not have the resources to leave. There has got to be an emergency plan put in place now to be able to evacuate a large metropolitan city before and after a disaster quickly.

It is not only earth and weather patterns we need to be concerned about; it is our individual and collective conscious and unconscious anger that is really erupting now as Mars (the Planet which reflects our relationship to anger) is quincunx Pluto (the Planet that brings up the shadow side. The “shadow side� is all the stuff we have not been either acknowledging and or dealing with.�) People in general are getting angrier, as Mars is putting a gigantic spotlight on everyone's fears, frustrations, unfulfilled dreams and previously repressed anger. A lot is erupting!!

As mentioned in the Fall 2004 Newsletter, “Mars normally spends about six weeks in a Sign, is spending seven months in Taurus. Mars traditionally is also the Planet of War, aggression and man's personal will and desire nature. The Sign of Taurus represents the Earth, Mother nature, natural resources, including oil, land, our personal home and concepts of national homeland. These are the key issues that are now becoming critical as Mars does its sojourn in Taurus. Also with Mars spending so long in Taurus, extremist factions in the world become even more territorial and militant about what they consider their “homeland�. So in countries where groups are fighting over land, whether it is to create their own separate country and or governing body, or for religious reasons want to keep their homeland for themselves and consider anyone of a different group, or a religion as “infidels�; it is going to be a bigger mess!�

There is so much going on as reflected by all the amazing Astrological Cycles, that everyone would benefit by knowing the upcoming Planetary Patterns and how to handle them more effectively. Yes, it is in your best interest to subscribe to my 2006 Cycles Forecast audiocassette. They are truly beneficial and I am just the messenger who brings forth the information. How we handle the Cycles is entirely up to each of us. If you know it is going to “rain�, you have a choice of not getting drenched by carrying an umbrella or staying in. We each have choice if we know what is coming so we may work and prepare for the Cycles instead of being unaware. Astrological Cycles are the “road maps� of Life. If you know there is a ditch up ahead you may take the necessary steps to avoid it. Also so often one can miss out on a Cycle of opportunity simply by not knowing that it is the right time to begin something.

One of the most serious Cycles is the Saturn Cycle. It takes 29and ½ years to go through the whole Zodiac, spending 2 and ½ years in each Sign. When Saturn is in your Sign you know it! Saturn is the Planet of lessons, tests and Karma. Karma is reaping the results of choices and decisions and actions you have taken in the past. The past is everything up to this current moment. Saturn is the great teacher. As we each journey on our path of Evolution, consciously and unconsciously we may think we have learned a particular lesson and that we won't encounter that experience again. Saturn comes along to let each of us know what lessons we have learned and what ones we each need to still work on. For most it is a time of rude awakening through problems that are confronting you. Whatever area of your Life that you are not doing your best in becomes a big problem that you must deal with.

The first area to be the most concerned about when Saturn is in your Sign or on your Rising Sign is your health. One may not treat their body all that well for years and be perfectly fine until Saturn comes along. With Saturn you pay the price for how you've treated your body, it all catches up with you. The Key is to not wait till Saturn is right around the corner or on you. Then it can be too late. A sad example is Peter Jennings, the ABC news anchor whose passing affected many of us. He was part of ours lives for so long. Peter was born on July 29th, 1938. Saturn had just gone into Leo on July 16th of this year. He truly didn't have a chance to survive with his Birthday Solar Return Charts in New York City, unless he had been doing Birthday Solar Return trips for the last few years.

It is your Birthday Solar Return Chart that reveals how you are going to play out the Cycles. For example is Saturn going to bring you problems with your health, or your relationship, or your job, and or your finances? The answer is in your Solar Return Chart. Let us take Peter Jennings.

As I have written about frequently and teach at my Solar Return Workshops, The Solar Return Part of Fortune is the most important factor in everyone's Birthday Solar Return Chart.

Unfortunately the majority of astrologers are totally unaware of this unless they have studied with me. I have been analyzing Birthday Solar Return Charts longer than most Astrologers and sending clients to specific places for their difficult Birthdays. I say this not from a place of ego, but from place of concern. Also no book on Solar Returns, or computer generated interpretation report deal with this. (By the way many computer-generated reports are fairy tales. Also be wary of people using “reports� to interpret your Charts and not really having the ability to personally analyze them.)

The section/area of your Solar Return Chart where the Solar Return Part of Fortune is for your current Birthday Year reflects what is going on under the surface that you are totally unaware of, forces at work that by the time you know about it; it can be too late. The two most serious placements of the SR Part of Fortune are the 6th House/section, which is the area of Health and the SR Part of Fortune in the 8th House/section, which is the area of critical issues including Death. Before you panic the SR Part of Fortune in the 8th House does not mean always that one is going to get into a Life versus Death situation or die. It depends on what Planet or Planets are on it or whether no Planets are on it and secondly how it is aspected.

The SR Part of Fortune is the one thing you cannot move by going on a Birthday Solar Return Trip, however we can change the Sign that it is in and how it is aspected and hopefully put either a Natal or Solar Return Venus or Jupiter on it to help protect it. Due to the placement of the other Planets in your Birthday SR chart, both the Natal Birth and Solar Return Planets, along with what section of your Chart the Eclipses for the year are occurring in; sometimes it is not possible to protect it totally. The Key is to protect it as much as possible in both the 6th House and the 8th House, so that if something is going on in the body it will be detected before it is too late. For the most part illness doesn't happen overnight, it takes awhile to surface. One may feel perfectly fine and not have any symptoms until later on. The SR Part of Fortune is in effect 2 to 3 years.

When I see a SR Part of Fortune in either the 6th or 8th House/section of one's Birthday Solar Return Chart, I ask that the individual get a thorough medical check-up and if in the 8th house to get a full body scan with their doctor's approval. This has saved lives!! A stunning example occurred at one of my Solar Return Workshops awhile back with a new participant, someone I had never met. I was trying to get across to her the seriousness of her current Birthday Chart and all she kept saying was she would eventually go to the doctor. I wouldn't let up until she promised 1st thing on Monday morning she was going to her doctor. While she was at her doctor's office she was having a heart attack!! It turns out that she previously had been having some mild symptoms that in women are associated with heart problems and many women ignore, as they are not the “typical� symptoms.

The potential health problems that the SR Part of Fortune in either the 6th or 8th House manifests differently depending on the Sign that it is in and what other Planets are connected to it. I have seen the SR Part of Fortune in the Sign of Leo in the 8th result in brain tumors. The year Elizabeth Taylor had her brain tumor (she is not a client) she had the SR Part of Fortune in the Sign of Leo in her 8th House. She is a Pisces by the way. That was the same year a client of mine who did not go on a Birthday Solar Return Trip had it in Leo as well in her 8th House. I have also seen the SR Part of Fortune in the 8th in the Sign of Sagittarius, as well as in Libra manifest in the disease cancer.

Though the list goes on, it still requires further research, as I am the only professional Astrologer aware of this startling factor. It would be wonderful to find a way to fund additional research.

People send me Charts of individuals who died the same year they had an unprotected SR Part of Fortune in either the 8th or 6th House. We all die eventually; my attitude is let it be later than sooner. It is so tragic to see someone go when they are not ready to leave. I have also seen Charts of children who died suddenly with this same factor in their 8th House, and even death with it in the 6th House. So far my clients who do Birthday Solar Return Trips when they had the SR Part of Fortune in either the 6th or 8th House have not died.

The Solar Return Part of Fortune is random, it doesn't move consecutively, meaning if you have it in the 10th House, next year it doesn't move to the 11th House. This is one of the key reasons everyone would benefit by getting their Birthday Solar Return Chart analyzed before their Birthday. If the Chart is fine for staying in the city where they live, I tell them so. Now back to Peter Jennings.

To begin with on Peter Jennings Birthday in 2002, he had the Solar Return Part of Fortune in his 8th House in the Sign of Sagittarius right on the point of undoing, the South Lunar Node and the Eclipse pattern. If he had been my client, as I mentioned earlier in this Newsletter, I would have asked him to get a full body scan and go on a Birthday Solar Return Trip. Remember the Key is to detect a problem early with the SR Part of Fortune in his 8th House as it can be up to 2 to 3 years down the road before he would manifest symptoms. Then it could be too late.

Then in 2004 he had the Planet Uranus in his 6th House of Health, quincuxing his ascendant and reflecting a sudden and dramatic change in his health. If he had gone on a Birthday Trip, the Uranus could have been moved out of his House of Health.

Last was his Birthday this July when he had his Sun conjunct Saturn in Leo in his 8th House, a pattern reflecting death. This could have been altered as well by a Birthday Solar Return Trip. Click here for some interesting charts to look at!

Please remember that it is these during times of intense Cycles that there are great opportunities for the individuals who are truly doing the deep inner work of self-awareness and integration. Our inner patterns are mirrored in our outer Life. Also the more evolved one is the more they are committed to service, each in their own field and way.

The next Moon + Solar Wobble is September 13 until November 10th. Mercury goes retrograde on November 13th until the night of December 3rd. This Fall period is a “10� on the Richter scale of intensity, especially November. Stay Heart Centered and remember the purpose of Life is your Soul's Evolution.
