Consciousness Travellers,
Happy New Year!! May 2001 bless us all
with unconditional Love, radiant health, and sweet prosperity. In the midst of all of the Cycles
swirling around us, if we can each stay God Centered, then our Journey is so much
easier.
We have
some unusual Cycles in 2001. We've got our Moon Wobbles, and then our Moon and Solar Wobbles. The
combination of the Moon and Solar Wobble occurs when not only the Moon's nodes are either square or
conjunct the Sun, other Cycles are reactivating Eclipses, which turns it into a Solar Wobble. A Solar
Wobble only occurs at the time of a Moon Wobble. Currently, we are in a Moon and Solar Wobble until
February 9th.
The most powerful Moon
and Solar Wobble starts on May 29th and goes all the way till July 20th.
That Wobble is a
triple whammy as Mercury, the planet of the Mind, communications and travel, goes retrograde on June
3rd at 10:22 p.m. Pacific Time and doesn't go forward until the night of June
27th at 10:49 p.m. Pacific Time, which is 1:49 a.m. on the 28th Eastern Time.
Mercury will be retrograde in Gemini. The most difficult Mercury Retrogrades occur in the Signs of
Virgo, (Mercury governs Virgo) and Gemini (Mercury co-governs Gemini). When Mercury is retrograde in
Gemini, we have more travel mishaps and accidents. Problems with communication technology abound,
(computers, satellites, etc.). Often times there is breakdown of negotiations, strikes, delays, etc.
June is definitely not a month
to be travelling if you can avoid it. (Interestingly, none of my clients have ever had a problem
travelling to their Birthday locations, during difficult travel cycles. Maybe because Birthday Trips
are such Sacred Journeys.) Even driving to work, the store, etc. in June can be more hazardous. So,
please be extra alert and cautious.
Then we have an extremely important Solar Eclipse in June that occurs on June 21st,
Right on the Summer Solstice point. Eclipses that occur on the Solstice and Equinox points have
a big impact on the world as a whole.
2001 into
June of 2002 is a very difficult time for peace in the world.
As soon as Saturn enters Gemini this April, it starts to oppose Pluto in Sagittarius. Whenever
we have difficult aspects between Saturn /Pluto, there is a major war going on somewhere in the world,
the more difficult the Saturn/ Pluto aspect, the more countries involved. It is imperative that all the
world leaders be vigilant about keeping peace. Each of us can pray as well.
With Mars going into the Sign of Sagittarius on
February 14th and staying there all the way till September 8th, this only fuels
the combustible energy more. So much Mars! So many of you have ordered my tape, Turning
Mars Into an Ally and have raved about how much it is helping. (I personally listen to the
Mars tape as well.)
Sagittarius is the Sign that has a lot to do with our ideologies and beliefs. Unfortunately, when Mars
(traditionally called the planet of War) is in the Sign of Sagittarius religious conflicts escalate,
people become overzealous and forget that only man separates man, God unites.
Thousands of years and how far have we
evolved?
The
positive side of the Mars Cycle, is that it is a dynamic time to get a lot accomplished, if you don't
blow an emotional fuse. Decide on a particular project or endeavor that you desire to bring to
fruition, and focus the Mars energy on it. It's important to stay focused with Mars, otherwise you
can scatter your forces. Mars Cycles play out predominantly on the angle it is to your Sun Sign, more
than in your personal natal chart. Astrology is primarily based on mathematical angles, and the
angles must first be taken into consideration before almost anything else.
This is why the Year Ahead cycles Tapes are so valid, because they
are based on the angles the planets make to your Sun. (See Enclosed order form, tape supplies are limited) Every year I
say I'm not going to make these tapes again, as it is the most stressful project I do in my work. It
takes a lot out of me. Just as I was telling my assistant, I'm not going to do them, we get
special calls and letters saying how much the tapes help, and have actually saved some lives. A
woman told me that on last year's tape for her Sign, it said because of a powerful Eclipse in her
Sign, to get the key men in her life (father, husband, sons) a thorough medical check up. Her father,
who felt fine, reluctantly went to the doctor, and immediately had to have surgery for a Life
threatening illness that had not come to the surface yet. This call in particular was motivation for me
to make the 2001 tapes.
It is certainly not the money the sale of the tapes brings in because the revenue jumps me to another
tax bracket, and Uncle Sam gets all the money from the tape sales. It is totally beyond me why in this
country one is not rewarded for working hard.
It is interesting that the United States Chart, with its Sun in the Sign of Cancer
in the money house, will be very impacted by the Cancer Eclipses this year. A major shift economically
will be taking place.
By the
way, the Moon Wobble that was in effect at the time of the election was square (90 0 angle)
the United States Sun. Then the Moon and Solar Wobble that started December 11th which is
in effect till February 9th opposes the USA's Sun, and our coming Spring Moon Wobble which
starts March 20th is exactly square the USA's Sun. Last but not
least, the long Summer Moon and Solar Wobble is conjunct both the Sun and Jupiter in the U.S.A. chart.
A lot of wobbling and shifting.
I was having dinner recently with longtime friend, Dr. Brugh Joy and he was asking me about
what the ultimate purpose of Moon Wobbles are, since all Cycles ultimately serve in some way.
I explained that Moon Wobbles come along essentially, from the higher perspective, to shift and break
up the status quo. Energy that has been held too tightly, stuck, or suppressed, gets broken up and
comes to the surface. Before something new can be planted, the soil needs to be loosened up. The
reason Moon and Solar Wobbles are so chaotic is that energies, which are blocked individually and
collectively, must be released to flow, and energy by its very nature must flow. To the extent
energies are blocked, suppressed is to the extent and magnitude they come to surface during Moon/Solar
Wobbles. That's also the reason we have more earthquakes during Wobbles than any other cycle.
Remember we do not have earthquakes at every Wobble, because each Wobble is different,
depending on the Sign it occurs in and its relationship to the other planets. They are like a
pressure relief valve for Mother Earth.
By the way, George W. Bush who is a Cancerian, his Sun is 1 degree more than the United
States Sun. It is an interesting dynamic to have a president who will be impacted directly by
Moon/Solar Wobbles at the same time our country is.
In addition, Saturn when it goes into Gemini on April 20th, 2001
till early June of 2003, it will be impacting the United States ascendant at 4 0 II 46
Gemini, the U.S.A.'s Uranus at 8 0 54 Gemini, and Mars at 20 0 58 Gemini.
The last time Saturn
was in Gemini was in the early 1970's. Richard Nixon was last president, we had oil shortages, the
Vietnam War was going on, and the Watergate scandal was getting ready to break. President Nixon
resigned when Saturn went into Cancer (our country's Sun Sign) the Sign after Gemini.
Saturn is the planet of lessons, tests and
karma. What is karma?
All it is, is reaping the results of choices and decisions one has made, the results of actions taken,
in the past, the past being years ago, last month, last week, yesterday or another lifetime. It is a
time of reckoning. Saturn is the great teacher, it comes to let us know what we've done wrong (as
in the case of Richard Nixon and Watergate) and what we've done right. Without Saturn, we would not
reap what we have sown. Saturn gives us the inescapable results. Every Saturn cycle is a major learning
experience. The key with Saturn is to take responsibility for our lessons, not blame
others, society, etc., and own up to our lessons, not run away from them.
For example, we each get Saturn cycles
to our Venus, the planet of Love. It comes to teach us about Love, real Love and commitment.
When an individual is in a relationship or married and they have Saturn conjuncting, squaring or
opposing their Venus, it is the cycle we want to end the relationship, or end the marriage.
Essentially, to run from the problems and not work through them. You fail to learn what you need to by
ending a relationship under Saturn. The irony is the next relationship you have will end up being more
difficult than the one you left.
One of my favorite stories is of a couple, I knew socially. In passing one day I told them they
were heading for major challenges in their marriage, the classic divorce cycle. They both just
laughed and said nothing could part them. I said hold to that and don't make a decision about the
marriage until after Saturn passes, because when Saturn passes the storm will be over. Anyway, a
couple of years passed and I ran into the husband. He said they wished they had listened to me. The
Saturn cycle had hit, they got a divorce and both were remarried and miserable. They both were
going to divorce their new mates and get back together. That's exactly what they did! This couple had
been married for sometime, committed to one another, and thought they were immune to relationship
challenges. I know clients of mine who have literally had to force themselves to stay put, until Saturn
passed, and were amazed that the relationship problems passed when Saturn did.
There are other cycles that reflect ending a
relationship, or marriage is the thing to do. But not with Saturn. To everything there is a
season and a time for every purpose under the Sun (Ecclesiastics: Chapter 3)
When Saturn goes into one's own Sign, it is a time of
reflection and evaluation of oneself, one's Life, achievements, relationships and
health. A lot of
people get sick when Saturn is in their own Sign, because your body also reaps the results of choices
you've made. You could be working too hard for years and think you're fine, or not eating right,
etc., and with Saturn it all catches up with you. Saturn doesn't make one
sick, it is just showing you what you have been doing off, what you have to stop doing. God and the
Planetary Cycles are not out to get us, they are pointing out what we each need to work on. It is how
we evolve.
Speaking of evolution, one of the most profound patterns that we came into this Life to
experience, is the Path of the Evolutionary Moon. It is the Path of the
Evolutionary Moon in each of our Charts, that reveals the keynote of this Life
experience. It is the first planet that the Moon contacts after your birth that shows the
Keynote that your Soul wants to be in accord with, and is a predominate theme in your Life.
On a personal note, I ‘ve just
adopted 2 adorable kittens from a local shelter. I am so excited!!.
